What is an eSIM?
An eSIM is a built-in digital SIM. Instead of a plastic card, the carrier sends you a QR code that activates the profile directly on your smartphone. A device can run several eSIM profiles at the same time.
Which devices support eSIM?
All iPhones since XS (2018), most Samsung Galaxy S20/Note 20 and newer, Google Pixel 3 and newer, Huawei P40, iPads since 2018. Full device list and activation guide — in the app.
How do I activate the eSIM?
After payment you get a QR code by email and in the app. Open "Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM", scan the QR — internet connects in 2–3 minutes.
How do I top up the plan?
From the app: "My eSIMs → Select profile → Renew". You can extend the current pack or swap for another. Pay by Visa, Mastercard or Mir.
Can I use eSIM with a physical SIM?
Yes. eSIM runs in parallel with a physical SIM. Typically: physical SIM for calls/SMS on your home number; KollabiuM eSIM for mobile internet. You keep your home number.
Does eSIM work on a plane?
You can activate the profile ahead of time — internet will connect as soon as the phone catches a local network after landing. Inflight cellular doesn’t exist on any carrier worldwide.
What if the eSIM won’t activate?
99% of the time this fixes it: reboot the phone, toggle airplane mode, check that eSIM is selected as the data source. Still stuck? Message in-app support — we resolve within 10 minutes.
Can I use the eSIM across countries?
Yes — we offer regional and global plans. For example, "Europe 30 countries" or "Global 145". Cross the border and the plan keeps working with zero reconfig.
